Here is the primary reason that evangelical churches should not push politics from either side of the aisle: The goal of the church is to get as many people saved as possible and to get those people to follow Christ’s teachings to the best of their ability. But when the preacher starts, say, praising the war in Iraq, people who oppose the war are instantly turned off from the whole message. At best, it’s a distraction from the gospel. At worst, the people who oppose the war reject the gospel along with your politics. In other words, people are going to hell because you wouldn’t stop promoting your politics from the pulpit.

After the Install Shield launched and I chose uninstall, I got a login screen for my Amazon account. I just wanted to uninstall it. I shouldn’t have to log in to my account to do that. So I canceled the login, and the uninstall failed. I tried that three times, and it failed each time. Finally I gave up and logged in and the uninstall finished.

A few things here:

Why is he surprised that unbox has stupid restrictive DRM? While I agree that DRM sucks, and think it’s pointless, the lawyers that rule this world love it. They think it protects their companies. Until the companies get wise and fire the lawyers DRM is here to stay.

He tried to uninstall it three times and it failed each time. I don’t know what it is with Windows users, but they feel the need to try the same steps a few times to see if the process suddenly starts working. I’d consider something terribly amiss if I followed the same steps for the third time and it magically started working on the third attempt.

Let’s just wait a month or so and someone will probably figure out how to crack the unbox DRM, then we can have our movies and watch them too.

Naneu’s pretty good at making bags for all occasions as seen by their huge selection on their website. Their Naneu Pro u120 bag was pretty great, and we can say their Echo bag is definitely good as well.

Nice review of one Naneu camera bag. I’ve been eyeing the Lima or Sierra fo a while now. It’s third on my list of things to buy now, right after a DSLR and the Wintec WTB-200 GPS.

Overwhelmingly and instantly, the ads from the fake women looking for male partners were inundated with responses, sometimes several per minute. All the other ads received lukewarm responses, at best. These results weren’t surprising, but some of the observations were… Many of these men used their real names and included personally identifiable information, including work email addresses and home phone numbers. Several admitted they were married and cheating on their spouses. Many included photos, often nude.

There has to be a way to profit from a scam like this. Maybe even without getting killed soon afterward.

Most people won’t be surprised to learn the 400D / XTi now features a larger 2.5in screen and Canon’s Picture Styles, but following the earlier EOS 30D, many equally expected the new entry-level body to employ the same sensor as its predecessor.
