Google Notebook

Search is all about finding the answers you need. Unfortunately, some kinds of questions–like where you should stay and what you should do on your Hawaiian vacation, or what kind of digital camera you should buy, or what the latest treatments for arthritis are–can’t always be answered in one sitting, or by visiting one site.

That’s why we built Google Notebook–to give you an online “notebook” where you can organize all your research, add personal notes to it, and share it with others. Google Notebook surfs along quietly with you as you browse, letting you clip and annotate whatever text, images, and links that help answer your question, all without ever leaving the webpage you’re on.

About SkypeOut

Free Skype Out! Not sure how this will work on my EVDO setup, but I’ll give it a try this evening.

Free calling within the US and Canada.

But remember, you can make free calls within the US and Canada to both landlines and mobile phones until the end of the year. It’s really easy; there are no contract fees, no line rentals. All you need is Skype and a phone number you want to call.

Sales of canned oxygen to create fresh market for Seven-Eleven Japan - RapidNewsWire.com

I wonder what kind of flamability warning these things will need in the U.S.?

O.J. pulls Bronco prank for pay TV show - REALITY TV , ‘IDOL’ - MSNBC.com

What is the world coming to? I sure hope that this show fails horribly and restores a little bit of my faith in humanity.

In a scene from his new candid-camera program “Juiced,” O.J. Simpson pulls a prank involving a white Bronco, drawing criticism from the family of a man he was accused of killing.

Blog Cook Book » Alternatives to Adsense

Found Blog Cookbook by accident while searching for some Ubuntu info and noticed this entry. I’m going to take a look at the alternatives and may even try one or two. text-link-ads.com looked to be the most intersting.

Making a bit of money from your blog doesn’t have to just be adsense. While adsense may work very well for some bloggers it is not the only possible source of revenue.

Photos: Microsoft’s workplace of the future | CNET News.com

This is all quite possible now, why wait for the future? Oh, it’s still too expensive, yeah. While we’re waiting, let’s hope they get the contrast issues fixed, that image is horribly washed out.

Uber-Review » Blog Archive » Digital Clock T-Shirt

Crazy idea for a DIY project. Now to find a thin flexible segmented LED.

With the Digital Clock T-shirt, I can assure you one thing, no one will ask you ‘what time is it’. The shirt runs off 4 x AAA batteries that are hidden in a pocket inside the shirt. The clock has 8 display patterns, a fade-in/fade-out feature and a stop-watch mode to see how long it takes you to get served a drink at the bar. You can be the official time piece of the party for $60.

Laptop Shade. - The Red Ferret Journal

Wow, 24 EUR for half a cardboard box painted flat black.

The Laptop Shade. €25.00 buys you some screen legibility even in the brightest sunshine. Shame it looks like something out of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, though.
