AG Shuts Down Scheme With Bogus Fuel Pill

There’s a consumer alert Tuesday from Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott. Abbott’s office is calling for a refund to all people who bought the so-called “top secret gas pill.”
There was a lot of hype about the pills that were claiming to save you gas if you put them in your gas tank.

After the Office of the Attorney General got involved, they discovered these pills were not only ineffective but toxic. They’re made of naphthalene, listed as a toxin on the EPA’s Web site and a chemical used in moth balls.
The Office of the Attorney General says the company, BioPerformance, illegally sold the pills through a Dallas-based pyramid scheme, recruiting unsuspecting buyers to sell the product to people they know.
“The legal action we are announcing today shuts down this illegal operation and provides restitution for the countless consumers who were duped into buying this product,” Abbott said.
The Office of the Attorney General says the company made $28 million off the pills and sold them to hundreds of thousands of people around the country, including an estimated 1,000 in Texas. They’re now required to pay back $7 million in restitution.

On 6 tanks of diesel my fuel milage per tank with pills averaged between 372.9 to 385.2

On 3 tanks of diesel my fuel milage per tank with pills averaged between 379.2 to 383.0

An on the last 6 tanks my fuel milage was almost the same every time 386.

I have all the recored fill ups for anyone who may want to view them I will be more than glad to email the files to anyone. But in my own some what scientific study if a product was going to work I think 15 tanks of fuel is more than enough time. All I know is they were free pills an at least I have tested and recorded my findings to back up my statement that “These pills did not work (For Me). Also nor did I notice any adverse affect in my truck..but who can really noticed anything different in a noisey diesel..lol..but the pills did kinda smell of moth balls.
