[Update March 11, 2006]
We’re now the top search for Top Secret Gas Pill and #4 when searching for Gas Pill.
If any of you gas pill believers really want to convince me that this works send me a month supply and I’ll post the results here. I drive a 2000 Olds minivan. My commute is 60 miles round trip and we average one trip a month of ~500 miles. Including nights out, church, visits to friends and shopping we drive about 2200 miles a month and will fill up about 6 or 7 times.
If it improves my milage by 15% or more I’ll sign up under you for the whole MLM experience at the highest membership level. If it fails you agree to bugger off and let me bash your product in peace.
[Update March 22, 2006]
I am withdrawing my offer to test the pills due to more than a few accounts of car problems resulting from their use. Maybe some day when I get a cheap little commuter car I’ll try it, but for now I cannot afford to be without my vehicle. There is one first hand account below of a failed fuel pump and I’ve received 3 emails from people warning me of problems.

Just because you gay loser cannot afford to make a bioperformance account and make $1000’s a day, doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. Dude, seriously, get a life. Shut this gay site down noob.

Read this. If you understand anything about cars, you will get it, if not, then shut up and dont talk. This is Official Industrial News.

BioPerformance Introduces Gas Pill that Increases Gas Mileage
BioPerformance just released a gas pill to people all over the USA that increases gas mileage up to 35%.
(PRWEB) January 4, 2006 — BioPerformance introduces gas pill that increases gas mileage.
Have you ever wondered why the internal combustion engine has remained basically unchanged since the first Model T rolled off the assembly line in 1908?
“If GM kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 cars that got 1000 MPG.” –Bill Gates
Since the early days of the industrial revolution, technology has taken us from the golden age to the space age. We only need to compare our old computer to new models to see how quickly things change for the better. Since this is true, how is it possible that the first Model T averaged 17 miles per gallon and the gas mileage of new Ford Explorers is exactly the same. What’s wrong with this picture?
BioPerformance has asked itself the same question. They just released a product December 8, 2005, to people all over the USA that has incredible fuel saving power. The product called “BioPerformance Fuel†is produced in pill or powder form. When inserted into your gas tank prior to your regular gas fill up, BioPerformance boasts an increase in gas mileage of up to 35%. Numerous testimonials can be read on the company website http://www.new.mybpbiz.com.
This revolutionary breakthrough product can also decrease harmful emissions thereby improving your local air quality. Along with offering significant gas savings, BioPerformance also offers a networking opportunity to earn income by sharing their revolutionary gas pill with others. Since BioPerformance, Inc. based in Dallas, TX went live on Thursday, December 8, 2005, over 1,800 people have enrolled, and well over 500 people have already received their first commission checks totaling over $300,000.00 in commissions.

ZhaR,
First off I’m not gay or a loser, nor are those adjectives mutually inclusive. I know plenty of losers who aren’t gay and plenty of gay people who aren’t losers. Grow up and drop the name calling.
I’ve read all the information on the “Gas Pill” site and the science is just marketing speak with no actual scientific proof.
Heat, or the “heat value” is not the “main property of a fuel”. What makes an internal combustion engine work is the expansion of the fuel air mixture when ignited. Heat is a waste product of this controlled explosion and the main reason our engines are water cooled. If we wanted more heat we wouldn’t pipe it through a radiator and waste even more energy spinning a fan to remove it.
Flashpoint is the lowest temperature at which a vapor of a combustable liquid can be made to ignite. It already implies that the mixture of vapor and air is ideal to produce the lowest temperature ignition. It is a property of the combustable liquid and provided with materials as a saftey guide. Keep the liquid or vapor below it’s flash point and it won’t blow up on you.
You should check the definition of dew point also. It’s the temperature at which air becomes saturated and forms dew. You really wouldn’t want the fuel to start condensing inside the engine. Liquid fuel doesn’t burn well.
I could go on, but it’s been a long weekend and I’m ready to put my feet up.

If the stuff is so good, then why doesn’t bioperformance guarantee any results? from the small print “BioPerformance, Inc. doesn’t guarantee anyone any results using BioPerformance Fuel” If its soooo good why disclaim it? Doesn’t make any sence to me.

Oh, all right then, so ANTON is a genuis now, and he knows everything about cars… Dude please, you have no idea what you are talking about. Listen to me, why have a disclaimer? You never know if a retard will come to the company and sue it claiming “Oh, they said ill get results, but i never did, so lemme have my $100,000 now.” when he actually never even tested it. Anton, HAVE you acutally tried it? I dont really care if you use information from the site to prove your points, BUT IF THE PRODUCT WORKS IT WORKS! WHO CARES WHAT IT SAYS!? If it is going to work for 99%, and not for 1% they got a chance of loosing the whole company if there will be no disclaimer, or any guarantee. They don’t make you use them, but seriously, if you have read my article from above, you would get the point. I have the rights, right now, to report this website to BioPerformance, and have them sue you for FALSE accusations against the forum brining their rank down. It is no joke, when you go against a BILLIONARE company that has most advanced software there is. You have not tried it, therefore you don;t know, and what people say IS NOT ENOUGHT! Think about what I just said, and if you are going to continue this, I am going to personally take things into matter to bring this site down.
By ZhaR on Mar 13, 2006
ZhaR, or is it really Nikolay or Raisa?
I’m just saying that the science on the BioPerformane site is bad. I seriously doubt it works, but not having tested it myself I cannot say for certain. Get a second opinion about the science, or just continue thinking I’m a genius, either way I don’t care.
Why do you think a guarantee would cause the end of the company? There are a lot of companies that have lifetime guarantees of their products. They all seem to stay in business longer than the ones who don’t. Look at Zippo, Craftsman, and Snap-On to name a few.
The wording on the guarantee is up to the company offering it and is almost always limited to the purchase price of the product. All I’d ask for is that if I’m not happy after a period of time that I return the unused pills for a full refund. I don’t see how that can cause anyone to lose their whole company.
I did read your plagerization of a BioPerformace press release above. It appears to me to be written by the same peole who write the website and didn’t really prove anythying. Simply saying something works is not proof that it does. If BioPerformance is truely a billion dollar company, then they can afford a couple independent tests.
If you are indeed making thousands of dollars per day, then you can afford to send me a month supply of the pills. If they manage to help my gas milage by as little as 15% then I will join the MLM under you at the highest membership level. If it makes you feel better I will even sign a contact before accepting the pills that states as much.
I will document the entire process with pictures, detailed driving and milage logs, blog about it everywhere I can and if it works, I will become your biggest fan and sing your praises all over the country.
However threatening me won’t impress BioPerformance and may just get you a visit from the West Springfield police. Last I checked we still had the right to free speech as long as it’s not slander or liable, and this is a far cry from either.

The gas powder works better than the pills.
I got 8 mpg more in my first tank full.
We don’t give out samples because people don’t use the product properly unless they have money invested in it.
The first tank has to be double treated and it may take up to 4 tanks to clean out the junk in your car and see results.
If you put too much, it could actually give you lower gas mileage.
People will pay closer attention to how they are using it if they pay for it.
You can go online and buy 2 bottles and prove it does or doesn’t work.
People hate to see people in multi-level- marketing making money so they call them scams.
You do MLM every day, you just don’t get paid for it.
If someone asks you were there’s a good restuarant and you tell them, they like it, they tell someone else. Is the restuarant going to send you a check for the new customers?? No. Neither will Wal-mart.
All businesses are basically MLM. You have the owners at Wal-Mart in the 10 ten richest people in the U.S. while their employees work for peanuts.
Sounds like a scam to me.
By Premierejan on Mar 19, 2006
Anton -
I’m getting some sample pills from a friend whose testing the gas pill now and has seen good results. I’m going to test it on an upcoming trip in 2 SUV’s. Neither of us are going to sign up or buy anything until we’ve proven to ourselves it works.
If it works for me then I’ll take you up on your offer and give you some samples to try - on the condition that if it works for you, you write me up big and send lots of people to me to buy it or sign up and join.
Talk is cheap, the proof is in the pudding. That said, however, fair is fair on the tradeoff to promote. I’ll keep you posted.

I got sucked in to Bio Performance and do I ever regret it. I DOUBLE TESTED in in my car, and in a friends van that in used in his courier business. My car got exactly ZERO more miles per gallon. I kept impecable records over 5+ tanks. At one point I thought I saw an increase but it quickly disappeared. My friend got the same results in his delivery van. He has kept very accurate records over the years on gas usage — after 6 tanks he asked to stop using it as he was afraid it may cause engine trouble. He stopped using it before I was on my 3rd tank, HOWEVER on my 4th tank my car started stalling after running at high speeds (on the off ramp). THEN one night while returning from a trip I was 150 miles from home and stopped to refuel, put in the PILLS, and the car would not start. Walked to a motel with my very angry wife in tow asking why did you ever try that stupid stuff. It was late Friday night so I had to abandon my car to a repair station and call a friend to take me home — the fuel pump had failed!!!! I have driven Cadillac cars for over 35 years and I have never had a pump failure. The repair shop said they had NEVER replaced a fuel pump on a Cadillac. Afte $600+ repair, I returned to et my car. The gas milage was even worse now for some reason and the service engine light was on. NOW, I had to replace two oxygen sensors, AND idler control module to get it running smooth — another $600+. NOW, my car is getting the proper gas mileage WITHOUT THE PILL. Here is the real killer: I e-mailed the Bio Performance compant since that is the ONLY way to contact them — they do not have a published phone number, and they refuse to answer my e-mail requesting WHAT TO DO in order to regester a complaint, and seek justice. They refuse to give me an address to send a lawsuit, and simply will not reply. IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO CONTACT THEM LEGALY PLEASE REPLY TO ME AT TDOOLY7@AOL.COM -thanks.
NOTE: I am a graduate Engineer and know how to properly test the product exactly as instructed and did exactly that — THE PILLS DO NOT WORK, except to destroy engine components.

Anton, I do not use my personal information online. I am 16, and I have a brain. I use the nickname “ZhaR” because I use it everywhere, and thats my website. I also do not even use my own internet, my laptop basically “steals” someone’s internet lol… But its their fault they don’t put passwords. 54MBPS good speed.. lol. Btw what software did u use to track IP?

If you want more, just google around for gas pill and read the comments.
By Anton on Mar 23, 2006
ZhaR,
You may have a brain, but you certainly don’t have much for manners or ethics. You should be careful about “stealing” someone’s bandwidth as it’s illegal in many states. If I leave the keys in my car and someone drives of with it, who goes to jail for GTA? Absense of a lock is not consent to steal.
As for software to track IPs it’s in the logs when you visit any web site and gets saved when you post a comment. I just used traceroute to find your city, whois on zhar.org gave me a name, address and phone number. A reverse lookup of the phone number confirmed the street address and gave me another name. A google for your surname makes me think your family has recently immigrated from Moldova.

All I know is I was given some and I seriously got 5mpg better on that tank. I couldnt fuckin believe it.
I am the most skeptical bastard in the world. I still dont use it but do know that I have personally seen it work myself in 3 different cars.
I would never believe it if I didnt see it with my own eyes.
By johnny one nut on Mar 27, 2006
Maybe it’s all the crap that’s been loading up your fuel system like cholesterol in your veins finally had a reason to dislodge; and that caused your fuel pump to seize. (though I kinda doubt it. noone’s ever said that Cadillac had a lock on reliability!) Washington state required adding oxygenated gas to the fuel supply during the winter months a few years ago. That move caused lot’s of cars to stall needing replacement of fuel filters due to dislodged stuff in the fuel system. You just never know.
I just went from 14.8 to 17.6 mpg, in town, within the first 140 miles using the fuel pills. Just under 20% improvement. Not bad for a full sized Buick. The car runs great and I’m hoping the mileage will improve with further use. I say- Don’t knock ‘em till you’ve tried ‘em.

IMAGINE a company based on the PRODUCT, not the payplan, and you can position yourself for free! If you don’t like the PRODUCT or the payplan, it does not cost you anything to investigate for yourself !
THIS IS NOT A FRAUD ! THERE IS A PRODUCT That is biodegradable, non-toxic, no carcinogens, non-hazardous, doesn’t smell like moth balls, and its free to join now. This Product Works as soon as you start using it , no waiting 4 or 5 tank fulls for results, then, well, try the powder, its supposed to work better and, maybe, you should change your fuel filter. This Product isn”t a Secret Magic Pill. This Product has proven results, with over 100 million dollars in yearly sales, to returning satisfied customers. Until recently, only big companies with huge fuel expenses were interested in mixing 1 oz. liquid Product per 10 gallons of fuel gas or diesel, to increase fuel milage and reduce maintaince costs. This Product cleans and lubricates the internal parts of the engine without the use of petroleum-derived products commonly found in fuel additives. There is another huge benefit of a cleaner better maintained engine, it produces far less pollution. Our main objective is to make fuels self-cleaning and self-lubricating without increasing toxic emissions. Here’s a copy of recent company update “4-E Team members.

I love the dynamic of the gas pill deal. I have found no less than 6 (and there will be more) companies vying for a part of this market. Competition is good. I hope the fallout from imposters with bad products and bad service doesn’t ruin the day for the good products (and ultimately us, the users). I am amazed how few of us Knew products like these existed. Reasearch has found something like 7,000 oil and gas additive registered with the EPA. This shows the power of word of mouth and Network Marketing. There are 200+ million registered motor vehicles in the US. To capture 1% of the market, a marketing company will need about 2 million distributors, and that would be a billion dollar company. We will be able to choose which company to do business with (buy or sell product)just like we are able to choose which car company to buy our cars from. As for the product, the next few months will be interesting. Only companies with
1.) Products that work (most will do the same thing: cause fuel to burn efficiently due to a chemical reaction and lubricate parts with different components, ie flax, canola, exotic tropical oils etc.) AND
2.) Experienced mentors and leadership will survive.
MONEY is part of the allure of this gas pill dynamic. Saving it and making it. If anyone is considering the making money part, take an appropriate amount of time to find out who the mentors are that will work you. Blind web sites don’t tell us a thing about the mentors. getting in early doesn’t equal success. Personal contact and access to private training sessions will make this abundantly clear. As for those of you with product questions, I have tested several and will share my experience with those who want to increase their fuel economy. Post a request if info is wanted. YES, many of the products do work, without harming your car and many of the companies do have staffed (live) customer service departments. Don’t let one bad experience (or smelly pill) be the final opinion of whether there is something good to be had from fuel additives. I am glad to be able to save some money and fight back against $10 billion in profit last quarter by a big oil company. Let’s not bash, let’s engage in finding good answers and options for all of us. Thank you.

Let’s compare, Ethos Enviromental Inc. vs. Bioperformance Per the BBB, Bioperformance less than 4 months in business and complaints filed. Ethos Enviromental Inc. 10 years in business worldwide, annual returning sales now in excess of $170,000,000.00 and no complaints filed, thus no listing. Test results Bioperformance has 2 questionable ISO 9000 test results and testimonials. Unfortunately these testimonials are provided by people making money from the “MAGIC PILL”. Let’s see, first the “MAGIC PILL”, normally takes up to 4 or 5 tank fulls to work. Or maybe you should try the powder, and/or well maybe you should try changing your fuel filter. For many of us this can take months, and by now you’re making money. You don’t want to be the one who says the “MAGIC PILL” doesn’t work as advertised. You want the “MAGIC PILL” to work, so subconsiencely you start changing your bad driving habits, no more jack rabbit starts, you start slowing down a little and lo n behold the pill starts to work. AMEN Ethosfr has all the test data you could ever possibly want(www.ethosfr.com, then click Library Tab)Tests have been performed on many types of vehicles(cars, trucks, boats, locomotives, hummers, jets, helicopters) and in fixed mount engines(generators, compressors, etc.), not all test data is available for obvious reasons. Plus this is backed up by over $170,000,000.00 of returning sales, from customers who have experienced millions of miles of improved mileage, reduced maintaince cost and reduced pollution. Clearly there no no comparison on the products, the “MAGIC PILL” vs. A tested, proven, patented, and guaranteed fuel enhancer. Now lets compare payplans, Bioperformance is great, everybody gets paid whether the “MAGIC PILL” works or not. No return, no guarantee and no money back ! And if the “MAGIC PILL” doesn’t work for you, good luck stopping their automatic withdrawl from your bank account(required automatic bank draft) in a timely manner. What a deal! Ethos mlm payplan is still being finalised, we don’t know all the details yet, but if the payplan is half as good as the product, there will be no limit to our future growth. Due to the overwelming response, our free enrollment has been extended to 8:00pm EST. Sunday April 9. Before its too late, investigate. All the information your looking for is at http://www.ethosfr.com, If you like what you see, visit my website at http://www.gasnutrition.com/sailing. Your other questions will be answered on the opportunity call tonight at 8:00 pm EST.

I have one thing to say about all of these people who refuse to try the pill because of science or whatever: dont listen to a word they have to say. They obviously have no idea what they are talking about. I started using the pills and I am not selling them (although I probably will so everyone I know can save money). I am saving over 35% in my van and 25% in my car and they are both running better than they have in a long time, all with no change in driving habits by the way. So you can debate all you want to about if these pills work or not. I will continue to save money while you waste your time and money saying there is no way they work.
By john on Apr 10, 2006
Try this, get someone to give you a gas pill, then get a moth ball and smell them both seperatly. You don’t have to be a science major to figure it out. Then run a search engine on moth balls and gasoline.Bingo! Your paying top dollar for smaller moth balls that are easier to get into your tank. Slightly raising your octane, perhaps improving your mileage some. But you can buy a higher octane gas cheaper then adding moth balls. This will be known as the moth ball scam in a couple years from now.

By Matt on Apr 17, 2006
Let’s face it folks. For a product like this to succeed it needs 3 things:
1. The product needs to work, not just by heresay, but by actual data that can be replicated.
2. It needs to be at a price point that will provide a net tangible benefit if people are going to use it on a regular basis.
3. A company, whether it be manufacturing or marketing, that can be held accountable with people from the corp. office that are accessable and available.
From the research that I’ve done (which has been considerable), I found that EthosFR, which will be marketed by the 4-E Corp., accomplishes all of the above.
1. I have not yet tried the product, but their test data looks impressive along with the investigative news reports done by several news organizations. This helps by giving instant crediblity.
2. Even at the retail price level, there should be a 3 or 4 to 1 return. If it costs 10 cents per gallon and I’m saving 50 cents it’s the same as saying for every $1 you give me, I’ll give you $4. Who wouldn’t do that all day long?
3. I have listened to the oppportunity calls by the leaders and corporate officers of 4-E Corp. along with the companies marketing consultants who have no vested interest and they have offered answers to questions posed on the calls as well as offering personal email addresses. I consider this great access to the top.
Only time will tell what happens, but the response has been overwhelming. When I first began investigating EthosFr and 4-E there were only about 3500 people enrolled, as of this writing (about 3 wks later), enrollment has exceeded 43,000.
Once I have some product available I will both sell it and provide some limited free samples so people can prove to themselves the benefit of this product.
With gas at over $4 in some parts of NY state (as of this writing, as seen on the Today show)everyone needs to try and find a way to combat escalating fuel prices. If we can reduce our fuel consumption by 10-20%, prices will come down; simple supply and demand.
This product will take the European Union by storm because they pay anywhere from $7 to $11 per gallon of gas. Let’s hope it never gets that bad in the U.S.
You can view the upgraded website by going to:
http://www.gasclubusa.net/go/gr8gasmileage
or go to the new upgraded corp. website by going to http://www.4-corp.com. (ID: gr8gasmileage for sign-up purposes).
In addition, the support you get from above is amazing, and the binary plan allows for up to 2/3 of someones business to be provided by their up-line. This opportunity looks like it has it all. From the product to the marketing to the support, it’s the right product at the right time.

You know when the price of a gallon of gasoline begins to go up the market place is flooded with products like this. And the funny part of it all is that it is based on pseudoscience.
And what is this about DEW POINT that I read? You know when DEW POINT is reached you begin to get condensation of what ever the liquid in question is. In this case GASOLINE. Basic hydraulics will tell you that anytime a LIQUID is compressed in a confined area it acts as a SOLID… What does this mean? It means that if ANY LIQUID is compressed in a cylinder that it can do tons of damage, such as breaking a piston rod, cracking the block or the heads. Put it this way DEW POINT should never be reached when it comes to a combustion engine.
And as for the properties of GASOLINE itself, it begins making flammable ignitable vapors at around NEGATIVE 50 degrees F. This means that dropping to the point of CONDENSATION for gasoline is virtually impossible unless you are MIDWINTER and well north of the ARTIC CIRCLE.
Now how about this! Where is the INDEPENDANT research that should come along with any claims by any reputable company that is pushing a product such as this? I have not seen any truly INDEPENDANT results that claim that this is some sort of WONDER product that is going to knock the oil industry on it’s backside?
To me this appears to be nothing more than an MLM get rich quick product that is not only preying on the CONSUMER but also on the people who will be PUSHING it too.
As for me I have been an aircraft mechanic for over 20 years in the US Navy. I know about engines and hydraulics and turbine technology. I can tell you that there are NO PRODUCTS that you can add to any liquid that is used in propulsion systems (including piston driven engines) that suddenly work magic without causing DAMAGE to the system somewhere else.
Not only that but my SISTER IN LAW was given a sample of this “GAS PILL” and to me it smells like MOTHBALLS… Remember when people used to put MOTH BALLS in their tanks to get that BOOST OF HORSE POWER only to later find out they have burned holes in the pistons or burned the valves?
BEFARE OF THE CLAIMS OF THIS PRODUCT!!! It could very well cost you a lot more money down the road…

Gary…
I have also heard many bad things about the so called gas pills. EthosFr is not as convenient to use as the pills since it needs to be poured into a gas tank, but it appears that this alleviates some of the problems that the pills have, i.e. the residue that’s left over after the pills disolve.
As a Navy flight mechanic I am very interested in your professional opinion of the EthosFR product. The info. can be viewed at http://www.4-ecorp.com.
Thanks!

I have been using both the Bio Performance Product, as well as another pill known as a mpg-cap put out by Fuel Freedom International for almost 3,000 miles in both a full size Crown Victoria, as well as a smaller Ford Escort. I have kept very precise records, and have only used Chevron gasoline in both vehicles. Both vehicles are driven daily over the same route and have for years, and both vehicles are in excellent mechanical condition, and have passed the emission test required by King County, Washington state without even a hint of a problem. The Crown Vic has established a day in and day out mpg average of 18-19, while the Escort comes in at 25-27 mpg. During the testing of these two products, I have yet to see an increase in mpg for either vehicle, although the Crown Vic on three straight highway trips has gone from it’s normal average of 23-25 mpg to 30 mpg. I’m still not convinced that the increase was due to the product, or the ideal driving conditions I encountered on the trips. For me personally to become excited about these products, I will need to see an increase in this day in and out mpg. I have however noticed something very positive in the Crown Vic, and that is that any sign of “ping” that I used to experience is now all but gone. I used to hate accelerating and hearing my motor ping like a marble being shaken in a can, but as stated, this has all but disappeared since using the FFI mpg-caps. In uncoming months, I will be testing a product known as “Power Plus MPG” as well as the UIbee power pill and will be happy to post my results. I am only experimenting with these products as a customer and am not involved with any of these companies as a distributor. When I started the BP testing, I was sold a bottle of the powder for $25 to try out which was I was told below cost. I do have one bottle left as well as some FFI mpg caps that I will sell to someone else wanting to do a test for this same $25 and I will pay the postage. If anyone is interested in this, or if anyone would like to review my mpg testing records in unaltered form please feel free to write to me at jeffantoncich@comcast.net

Being very intrigued about the different fuel saving products that have come up on the market over the past few months, I’ve been most anxious to test and try them out for myself. I’ve mosted my results on 3 different blogs/forums and have enjoyed sharing a few emails with some of the other readers. Since my last fill up I’ve noticed something very interesting that I wanted to share. After receiving an email that suggested the FFI mpg-caps needed to be added at 4x the normal dosage for the first 120 gallons to properly “coat” the interior of the combustion chamber I added 3 caps, or 3x the dosage into the tank of my Crown Vic prior to fill up. I also added 5 oz of EthosFR to the crank case, as well as 7 oz to the tank after being assured by the people at EthosFR that it would not cause conflict with any other product I may be using. Within the first 50 miles, the evidence of morning cold start exhaust smoke had all but disappeared. Now, 200 miles later, there is almost no cold start exhaust whatsoever, nor is there any belching of exhaust smoke upon hard acceleration. The engine is smoother at idle as well. Finally, I noticed today that at the half way mark on my fuel gauge I had driven 230 miles, where normally I’m at about 200 when the tank is half full. Not certain if it’s the FFI mpg-caps, or the EthosFR, or a combination of both, but for this tank anyway I am seeing a noticible improvement. Again as always stated, I am not a distributor or associate of any of these companies, but am just testing the different products as a consomer. Please feel free to contact me at jeffantoncich@comcast.net if you have any questions or experiences to share.
Finally, has anybody tried the new “Power Plus mpg” pill that is out that was developed by a Yukos engineer? Please share any results good or bad if you have tried this product.
Thank You,

What you need to do is ask yourself why you cannot buy these products in a store but rather from some sketchy individual or sketchy website then you will realize that large corporations such as walmart or kmart would not put this product on their shelves because tests probably have concluded they do not work as hyped.

Hey Anton, I work at a major airline & have several co-workers who try to sell me various gas pills. When questioned, most can’t even say what the pill is supposed to actually do. One individual (call him “Fred”) sells the ‘BipPerformance’ pills and at least sounds like he knows something about the product & let me examine the package information along with a few of the tablets.
My observations were 1) the things smelled like mothballs, 2) there was no plausible explanation given as to how or why they should work, and 3) I could not find any company contact (street address or phone number leading to a real person) to stand behind the product. ‘Fred’ says that his mileage has gone from 22 to 29 mpg in his car, but I have no way to verify it. I’m certain that HE believes in the stuff, but I’d be far more comfortable seeing it hit store shelves with a money-back guarantee.
I can think of many products I’ve bought over the years from MLM’s or infomercials because they presented themselves as reputable companies willing to stand behind their products (the most memorable for me was the ‘banjo minnow’ fishing lures - they worked exactly as the advertising claimed they would). If these gas pills work as they’re supposed to, why don’t we see advertisements on TV to buy directly from the company? Why would any company in its right mind give up potentially enourmous profits so that other people can sell the product for them?
In my experience, the only time this happens is when the company has no confidence in their product and is only trying to make a fast buck at someone else’s expense. Being an open-minded (though skeptical), reasonable individual, I am willing to see if any of these companies will stand behind their product, give a guarantee, etc. THEN I will try it. In the meantime, I can’t afford to have anything go wrong with my vehicle, as my Ford’s warranty would be voided if I introduce third-party products (ie - stuff other than gasoline) into the fuel system.
Please let me know if you can get independent confirmation that any of these products are reputable & reliable - thanks.

ZD and Antons Readers,
Offering this info to help people decide whether to try these products. (and a vote for Network Marketing)
There is a federal law - Magnussen-Moss Act of 1978- that makes it illegal for a manufacturer to void a warranty by using or installing after market products. The science behind most of these products has been around long enough (40 some years) that it won’t harm your engine or we’d have heard about it by now.
The markup on these products wholesale to retail is about $.33 so I doubt if Wal-mart, K Mmart or the local parts store or the gas station are going to inventory and retail these products. Manufacturers choose Network Marketing to sell their products because word of mouth advertising (and all our opinions, on line included)is more effective in bringing information and products to the masses. Also cost a lot less. Mass marketing typically means massive advertising costs (and often times higher product costs). Network Marketing takes retailers profits and much of the massive advertising cost and returns it to its distributors. The business model that is Network Marketing is fast becoming the preferred model of doing business. Study the “Amazon” click through your web site to Amazon and get paid a fee for the referral as only one example of building a network. Or adwords by “Google.” Your site refers a user(by clicking on a word) to another site and you make money. These are somewhat different examples than the entire Network Marketing business model, but at the end of the day, “It is better to make money with our custoners, than from our customers,” is the business model that open source has brought into the mainstream. Each one of us has the right and now the option to decide if we want to give the profit from our consumerism to the stock holders of a corporation that Mass Markets and TV advertise products or to a network of like minded individuals.
Any product that does not have a 100% satisfaction money back guarantee shouldn’t be purchased and any company that doesn’t offer such a guarantee shouldn’t be taken seriously. Because of the age, condition and efficiency of vehicles, no company will ever give a performance guarantee. We will have to operate with in the satisifaction guarantee if we want to purchase the products.
There are several companies in the market place, all are touting their product to be the best. Beware, there are now or will be unscrupulous operators in this business just as there are in others. We should use consumer sense to separate the hype from a legitimate product and the hypsters from legit companies. What science is involved? There are some 7,000 detergent type fuel and oil conditioners registered with the EPA. Todays fuel is 95% clean. What % increase can be expected within the last 5%? Do any of these products change the conditions where the fuel is burned? What is the origin of the product. How long has the product been in use. Money back guarantee? Can we use a credit card to purchase the product and thus, use the credit card dispute or fraud features. Try the BBB at the companies home office and locally for complaints. Lastly, don’t let other people define your reality. Try some for yourself if you believe it will help your personal economy amd the environment. There are many distributors who will provide free samples.
Thank you,
J Henry

BE WARNED PEOPLE, THIS BioPerformance Pill crap is a SCAM!!! I have been researching this company and this product since November. Only the top 2 people KNOW what this product really is. Wanna know??? I have a copy of a patent that was issued to a competing additive company. This competing company, Enviromax, was going to bring a lawsuit for patent infringement against BioPerformance. Now, as recently as this week, BioPerformance says they have proof that their product was already being sold in 1984 under another company name. They defend the fact that THEIR product, being chemically similar, except for the physical state of the product, was the first produced. Well, I’m so glad they decided to jump on the chair so they could hang themselves. The Enviromax product, that BioPerformance claims came AFTER theirs, is based on Naphthalene. For you non-scientific types, let me enlighten you…MOTH BALLS, MOTH FLAKES, or white crystalline powder!!! The only difference is that Enviromax patented a liquid substance, and BioPerformance’s product is in solid form. To date, I have found a number of people that have had fuel system failures while using this product. Furthermore, the Better Business Bureau tried to reach the MAIN OFFICE of this company a number of different times and left messages but the company would NOT return their calls. What kind of a company hides from the BBB??? Maybe one that is out to make 1000 millionaires??? PEOPLE, I’m only gonna say this ONE time. If you’re using this stuff, is it worth the cost of your fuel pump, or injector pump (if diesel), or worst of all, your engine??? Naphthalene is used in some fuel additives, but only in a liquid form. This substance is one of only a handful that naturally sublime, that is, it tends to want to go from solid to gas without a liquid stage. It also tends to NOT want to mix with fuel or fall from suspension when it starts as a solid (either a pill or powder). So, this means that it WILL get caught in the fuel filter (wonder why they’re recommending changing fuel filters), or clog your fuel pump, or clog injectors. They claim that is it cleaning the fuel system. Naphthalene is not a fuel system cleaner but an octane enhancer, so if you’re filter is clogging or if your car happens to surge, chances are good that the product is falling out of suspension and clogging the system. IS THIS KIND OF DAMAGE SOMETHING YOU CAN RISK??? I am a scientist and am currently doing research on a number of fuel additives but this one is a real nightmare. The additives currently on the market, the majority being manufactured by some of the largest fuel additive companies on the planet are based on late 80’s and early 90’s research. The Naphthalene bit was a common trick used in the 1950’s and 60’s to boost octane. It’s nothing new and has been passed over by many an additive company mainly because of the toxicity of the chemical. If you’re a stickler for details, notice that on the BioPerformance website, nowhere, will you find an actual MSDS sheet. They simply tell you that their product is non-toxic, but an actual MSDS must report the toxicity of any substance used in a product. Also, this is a real and sincere warning to any pregnant women that may be using this product, this chemical is EXTREMELY dangerous to a fetus because it can be absorbed through the skin or inhaled and has been found to have adverse affects. Please use this product at your own risk!!! I have the name of an attorney that is looking into a possible lawsuit for those persons that have had damage caused by this product. If there are people seeking help with claims, post here and I will try to post his contact info ASAP. And, to Mr. Mims, I would seriously considered seeking counsel to defend your interests in BioPerformance, Inc. Naphthalene in a solid form “WILL cause damage to an internal combustion engine when used on a continuous basis, if the fuel system doesn’t fail first”. For those managers/area managers/associates/ anyone in the downline, you should seriously consider the consequences of liability if it is found that one of YOUR customers has a failure. You could be liable for damages because you sold the product. Product liability cases have been won against not only the manufacturer or parent company, but against the store or individual who sold the product. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! - THE SNAKEOIL BUSTER

That sounds like a solid approach to discovery about the Bio product and company.
This should not stop others from exploring the other companies marketing these products. Some will have good solid science behind them, true customer service and long running track records of effectivness. We have good results and good search on one company and are looking at a second to and test against. Is Bio Performance still active in business. I heard there were some problems.
By Fuel Freedom International on Apr 27, 2006
Anton,
I was researching gasoline additives in general when I found your posts. Thank you for starting a lively discussion. It appears that several companies offer “gas pills”. It also appears that several of them have no scientific testing behind them and that a few do. I have found one that I am going to try.
It is offered by a network marketing company at prices about half of the cost of Bioperformance. The product is called Ferox and has been around for about 12 years.
Their primary customer base has been industrial users but they have recently made their product availible to a direct sales company called Team Everest. You can get more information about this company at:
http://annteq.teameverest.net
and you can get more information about Ferox at:
http://www.addferox.com
Most of the companies I have looked at claim to make your fuel burn a little hotter which certainly should give your vehicle more power and thereby better fuel economy.
Ferox takes a different approach. They have a formula that reduces your fuels flashpoint allowing your engine to run cooler and still burn more of the fuel rather than pushing the unburned fuel out of the exhoust. Again, please look at the information at http://www.addferox.com
I have started using these “pills” and have the following results. My car, an older Honda, was getting 23 to 25 MPG. On my first tank with Ferox I got 29.3 MPG and on my second tank with Ferox I got 28.4.
Unless something goes wrong I will be selling Ferox as a distributor with Team Everest. If you are interested please go to:
http://annteq.teameverest.net
to buy product or sign up as a distributor so that you can buy wholesale. Yes I will benefit personally if you do that!! Shouldn’t I ?? After all I have just told you how to save $10 for every $2 you spend and obviously you can earn for yourself by telling others about this product once you are convinced of it’s value.
Have a great day,

Does Bio Performance Pill Cut Gas Costs & Save Money?
You should be able to find hundreds of indispensable facts, testimonies and claims both for and against the “bio performance gas pill” all over the internet and local news sources, maybe you even your neighbor!
If there’s at least one fact you didn’t know before I hope you find it here.
Just imagine the difference saving 30% on your fuel costs could make on your budget against the ever rising price of gas.
The only difference between the “bio performance gas pill doubters” and the “bio performance gas pill believers” that I have found, is in the actual trying and testing of the pills.
If you’ll invest a little more time in reading or talking to actual people who have tried the bio performance gas pills, you’ll probably be amazed by the bio performance gas pill results they claim to be getting.
New reports all over America are reporting information such as the following:
“A company in Perrysburg, Ohio, claims it has created a “gas pill” that can save motorists money at the pump”, according to the recent World News reports.
Recent ads in newspapers nationwide are promising a break from the continually rising costs of gas by as much as much 30 percent, with a “bio performance fuel pill” for the gas tank.
I have personally used the gas pill. … On one car I got five more miles per gallon. I also know a dozen other people who have used the pill and are getting better mileage.
Most of the “expert doubters” just simply claim it cant be real… or it would have been around before now.
I believe People are just trying to live the American dream and if… this gas pill really works and saves them money as it has for my family… Then the doubters best beware and test the pills for themselves before vaguely down playing their effectivness or risk losing all credibility and alot of money on fuel.
Imagine the potential growth of the bio performance pill industry and its potential impact on the big oil corporations and even more on American pocketbooks!
I also believe anything that can reduce gas and fuel consumption and help reduce pollution is well worth looking into wholeheartedly!
Knowing enough about the bio performance gas pill to make a solid, informed choice cuts down on the fear factor and hype racing all across the nation and is well worth anyones time.

Brian,
Would you be willing to try a different pill. I have had great results with Ferox and would be happy to sell you small quantitities, even two pills for testing. I will sell you the pills for $1.00 each and pay the postage to you. One pill treats 10 to 15 gallons of gas. I am willing to do this because if you have the same experisnce I have had with them I know you will want more. If you are interested, send an email to my spam catcher account at:
leigh_warhol@hotmail.com
Use Ferox as the subject and I will see the mail.
Anything else might be deleted without being seen. I am saving about $4.00 for each dollar I spend.

You insult the person of this site because they wont use your product. Way to sell em. I have went to site after sight trying to read up on this and all I seem to read are commercials or people insulting those who don’t try it. This isn’t magic a simple scientific explination would be nice. Not brownian motion jargon that they publish onsite. Insulting people and typing commercials isn’t going to sell it very well.

After receiving numerous E-mails asking for an opinion about which company promoting these gas savings products would be best to become involved with, I have decided to post what in my opinion is amongst the top 10 factors to consider.
In my opinion, here are some of the main factors that will need to be realized if one is to be successful with one of these “fuel saving” products.
1. It has to come along at just the right time, which they have..
2. They need to work. A person trying them out needs to see results within a short period of time, be it an increase in mpg, and, or a better performing engine.
3. They need to be “user friendly”. This includes an easy no brainier application method.
4. They must not have a foul odor. Speaks for itself.
5. The “break even” cost must be able to be offset by a realistic (ie: 10%) improvement in mpg. We could all get excited about a 35% savings, but this is not realistic for the average driver.
6. Samples must be affordable to pass out. Very few people will jump right into the product as a business until they prove the merits to theirselves. If samples are easy as well as affordable to pass out, it’s just a matter of passing them out to people you know. If this product works and one can share it with conviction, as well as a personal positive testimony, the battle is half won.
7. The consumer needs to know that the product they are using will not cause harm to their vehicle. The company behind the product needs to stand by the product and guarantee that it’s application will neither damage their vehicle, or void the factory or extended warranty should there be one in place.
8. The product needs to be patented or be patent pending. In my opinion, any reputable company will have a patent, or patent pending behind their product. Again, and this is only my opinion, any company who markets a product where there is no patent involved is doing so because either they know they cannot acquire a patent, or they are using a product or compound that may be violating someone else’s patent.
9. The company needs to have a direct telephone number, and, or E-mail address to the companies Customer Service department. In my testing of these various products, there have been a couple of companies who have been wonderful in a prompt response of my questions and concerns. If a company does not have a CS call in posted phone number or E-mail address, you may be able to find a better opportunity elsewhere.
10. Check the BBB as well as the AG’s office in the state which the company is licensed to do business. They will be glad to provide you with any information that they may have on the company in question.
Any questions or comments, please feel free to write to me at jeffantoncich@comcast.net

If this was a ‘proven’ product, then patents and submissions to various fuel companies would result in a massive payday for the inventor. As the chemical industry employs scientists with top level credentials, where is the scientific proof that any of these products actually work? I have researched and found that Bioperformance and Ethos FR are linked. Is Ethos FR the liquid version of the ‘magic pill?’ It seems to be. Is Napthalene a constituent? Changing the flashpoint of any chemical can be very dangerous, in both mechanical and personal risk elements. If you can afford a good vehicle, you can afford to run it as intended. On the other hand, if you drive a clapped out motor, you will probably try anything to save a few cents. What I saw on the Ethos FR site was a journalist from Fox News being conned. The vehicle being tested was cold from startup, hence the high hydrocarbons. After 20 miles, retested and up to normal temperature, hey presto… Not exactly rocket science! Why use a back-street garage for tests and not an Industry controlled environment with proper regulation? I have also been reading a lot of rubbish about people not testing the product for themselves. If someone is daft enough to put things into their system that are not verified and complaints have arisen from those who have tried the product, would you chance the outcome in a decent vehicle? Is the ‘American Dream’ to demolish your neighbours transport? Marketers will say anything and do anything to turn a profit and try to defend their positions. Let’s ask the company to send this stuff to Shell, BP, Amoco, or any other research establishment involved with the Petro-Chemical Industry for evaluation… Or, are they scared of the outcome?

EPA EVALUATION OF AFTERMARKET GAS-SAVING PRODUCTS
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) conducts a program to evaluate aftermarket retrofit devices that are intended to improve vehicle fuel economy and/or reduce exhaust emissions. Through engineering, scientific and statistical analysis of data obtained from independent and EPA laboratory testing, the evaluation program objectively determines the effects a device may have on fuel economy and exhaust emissions; when necessary, durability and driveability testing may be evaluated as well.
Purpose of the Program
The purpose of the program is to generate, analyze and disseminate technical data in a public document. Participation in the program is voluntary unless ordered by the EPA Administrator or the Federal Trade Commission. All voluntary testing is paid for by the applicant. The program is restricted to four wheeled highway vehicles weighing six thousand pounds or less.
Fuel additives are included in this program; however, oil additives and lubricants are not. A complete report is issued for any product evaluated by EPA. There is no approval, certification, endorsement, nor registration of any product tested in this program. Furthermore, EPA does not certify, approve, register or endorse any independent laboratory or the results of any independent
laboratory testing. Any claims of EPA certification in this program are false.
Overview of Testing
The EPA device evaluation program employs the same scientific laboratory test methods used to certify vehicles in the United States. The specific tests are the Federal Test Procedure (FTP) and the Highway Fuel Economy Test (HFET). Each of these involve placing the test vehicle on a dynamometer (a laboratory test apparatus which simulates road conditions) and driving through a specified trace simulating city and highway driving in consecutive test sequences. Exhaust gases
are captured, analyzed and used to determine rate of each criteria pollutant emission in grams per mile (gms/mi) and to calculate fuel economy in miles per gallon (mpg).
The controlled laboratory conditions and use of a standard test fuel in this evaluation program minimizes variables one would have to address when using actual outdoor driving on roadways.
Laboratory testing assures that the test results’ comparisons, with and without the device, are not
influenced by outside, uncontrollable factors.
EPA conducts tests on at least two different vehicles which are representative of the fleet. Each vehicle is thoroughly inspected and maintained as it was originally certified by EPA prior to testing. A minimum of three tests using each test vehicle without the device are conducted to establish a base line. The device is then installed on the vehicle as instructed by the manufacturer and the same three test series are conducted once again. When completed, the device is removed and the initial series of tests are conducted once again to determine whether the vehicle has been
affected by using the device.
The data obtained from testing are analyzed for statistically significant differences, either positive
or negative. Emission results for each of the criteria pollutants, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons and oxides of nitrogen are compared for these differences. If use of a device results in a statistically significant increase of any of the criteria pollutants, EPA would consider installation of the device as tampering with the emission control system even though fuel economy may be improved.
Applicants for this voluntary program are invited to be present during installation and testing of the device at EPA’s test laboratory located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
For further details on the evaluation program, go to:

After doing my research and smelling a gas pill, I’m quite certain that they are just napthalene. Since napthalene is an octane booster, and I already use the high octane gas, I doubt that the pills will give me any benifit.
I’ve tested my van with the lower and high octane gas and find that on average I get about the same miles per dollar regardless of which fuel I use. The engine does ping less and accelerate better with the good stuff.

$45.73/tank (17 gallons)
High
24.8 mpg (an 11.2% improvement!)
$2.99/gal
$0.1205/mile
$50.83/tank
So I can spend $5 more per tank for good gas or put $2 worth of dogey pills and hope for the same benifit. Keep in mind that the $5 isn’t really an added expense since it allows me to travel farther on a tank. The cost is the same per mile.
I think I’ll continue to pay the $3 “extra” per tank and not have to worry about my fuel filter.
Assume that the pills give me the same 11% improvement that the higher octane gas does. Add the cost of double pills for 150 gallons (Save $1/tank instead of 3). Buy a new fuel filter (Bioperformance recommends it) at $30. The break even point is now at 16 tanks (or 272 gallons or 6745 miles).
If ya’ll are really worried about milage, get a tuneup (you should be doing this already if you want your car to last longer), find out which octane works best in your car, and drive slower. All three of these can easily save you 15-20% on your fuel bill and won’t cost nearly as much in the long run.
By Anton on May 5, 2006
OK I have just spent 30 hours investegating this and havd used 2 tanks already. I:M STOPPING….If its the real deal, it will be just as real 6 months from now. That should be enough time to see if it causes any damage to anyones cars or if it works…Companys like Amway and Shaklee have survived 50 years and still work as business models. IF this is legit it should be able to stand up for at least 6 months. Come on people use your heads.

After testing the BP Pills, BP Powder, and FFI Mpg-Caps for 1,000 miles each, my records will show that I did not receive one extra mpg per any tank.. in either of our two vehicles. Please note that I am not in any way saying that these products do not work. I am only stating that they have not worked for me personally. My next plan of action will be to go the next 4 tanks in both vehicles without any fuel treatment whatsoever to fully purge the system and re-establish a base line mpg record. I will then be testing the UBiee Power Pill in the Escort, and the FFI mpg-cap once again in the Crown Victoria. What is so interesting is that so many have written singing the praises of how well this type of product would/will work in a Network Marketing/MLM situation, but few have shared their results with me. A couple have even shared that they could care less if the product worked or not, and for them, it was all about the money. I have from the beginning stated that unless it worked for me personally that I was not interested in looking into this as a business. Regretfully, there has been little talk or sharing about the potential monthly savings, or cleaner emissions as a result of using these products. As I talk to people about these products in general, while many really would like to cut back on their monthly fuel consumption it is amazing how many have voiced that at a 10% savings they would not be interested in applying the product prior to each fill up, or that “I only use about 30 gallons per month” and therefore were not interested to save such a minimal amount. The only thing I can say about the use so far of these products is that the “ping” in both vehicles now is almost non existant, and although it still resurfaces from time to time is less than it was, and now smokes less on cold starts as well as hard acceleration. (Both vehicles never did smoke much, but now they do so even less) Also as a side note, since adding 2 tsp. of Ethosfr to the fuel as well as oil of my lawn mower, I now have a grass cutter that runs smoother and more quietly than it ever has, starts easier, and belches less smoke. True Story..

Here’s an except from the article done by WESH linked by Brian above:
Definitely Napthalene, and definitely NOT harmless to people or your engine. Stock car racers used to use moth balls in the old days to get a bit of an octane boost. That was before they discovered how bad napthalene was and quit making mothballs out of it.
By Anonymous on May 7, 2006
Jeff Antoncich,
The “ping” is frequently caused by using a gas with too low of an octane rating. Try switching to the next better grade of gas and check your milage.
I’m going to bet that you’ll get just enough improvement to cover the extra cost per gallon. If that still doesn’t help with the ping step up to the premium and check it for a couple tanks.
As I noted above my van does about the same miles per dollar regardless of which gas I use. The best octane for you depends mostly on your engine and partly on your driving style, experiement a little. If you’ve got an average 20 gallon tank, then the most you’ll risk is a few bucks.

I have a 98 Ford Explorer and tried the gas pill to see if it would improve the fuel mileage. After 5 tanks I have seen an improvement of about 12%. I was so impressed that it really worked that I just recently became a distributor and now sell the Bio Performance Gas Pill products proudly!

My 2001 Mitsubishi Galant went from 27.5 mpg to 29.5 on the first tank. The second tank went on up to 30.7 mpg, and now I’m on my 3rd tank. The next two fill-ups should keep on increasing my Mpg. Of coarse I was a little skeptic at first, but I tried it and you have to be dumb to think it doesn’t work if you’ve tried it and have saved money like I did ($10 in 2 fillups)
Just check it out!! Stop asking and try it out for yourself so you’ll know the truth. Heck, a bottle of pills of 80 is only $75. Just buy one bottle.

For almost four months now, I’ve been researching and personally testing several of recently spawned “pills” as well as “liquid” products to hit the market in recent times all being marketed to increase mpg while decreasing emissions and making the car in general run better. While I do not put down any of these companies, products, or marketing plans, I can regretfully admit that in over 5,000 miles of testing between our two vehicles, neither the 1992 Crown Victoria with 115,000 miles nor the 1994 Ford Escort with 127,000 miles has yet to see even a 1 mpg increase where it counts the most, that being our daily commute. During this time I have talked with mechanics, friends, and people in general about their vehicles and driving habits as well as the mpg noted from their particular vehicles. In many cases, those that actually knew what their mpg was presented figures that in many situations could no doubt be improved. Many admitted a lacking or slacking when it came to routine maintenance, etc. while others swore their vehicles were cared for better than their children. What conclusion I have pretty much come up with is that few of these cases where a significant mpg increase was noted was it any product “miracle”, but rather the product doing it’s job of cleaning the fuel systems, injectors, and as a result the often needed changing of the fuel filter before the driver suddenly realized “I’m getting better mpg”. Although he or she no doubt IS getting better mpg, it is more than likely a case of the vehicle once again getting closer to the mpg it was intended to get, and nothing more.
However, please realize this is a good thing, and let me explain why. I totally believe that 1 out of 3, or 1 out of 4 vehicles could run better, produce less emissions, and see an increase in mpg if their vehicles had cleaner combustion chambers, injectors, fuel filters, etc. We do not need to see these products as modern marvels to get excited about the possibilities associated with them. I personally believe that most if not all the pills and liquids we’ve talked about can be of great benefit to many if only presented to them to try. They may not possibly be of much benefit or interest to the owner of the 2004 Lexus, but they may be of great benefit to Joe or Jill average that now has a vehicle that is approaching or has exceeded 100,000 miles and may now be at the point of not running as good as it once did. I personally understand this, and if and when I become involved with one of these products I will realize the need to be flexible, and from the outset will realize it will not be for everybody. However, please be assured that there are many who will benefit from its use, and it is these people who you want to look for.
As a final sharing, it is amazing how in my testing I have been “flushed” by the person who had been supplying me with product because I kept asking questions. How often I’ve been told simply that “it works”, and not to try and stir the pot or re-invent the mouse trap. I was trying to do neither, but simply reported to them that in my situation the product was not working. Rather than accept this it has always been a case that I must be doing something wrong, or that I was the only person they heard of who it had not worked for. Ask your questions, and try the product before you become involved with any of these companies. Then if it works for you personally you’ll know you made a good decision to become involved. If the product does not work for you personally, the options are to still get involved (why would you if they don’t work for you) or become involved based on the testimony of others.
As always, please feel free to write to me at jeffantoncich@comcast.net should you have any questions or comments.
Thank you..
Jeff

Ok, I decided to do a little research on these ‘pills’ after my mother had mentioned them - being that she is a 54 year old divorcee who knows nothing about the workings of an engine (case in point, she purchased a car 9 months/~9000 miles ago [she puts a lot of miles on the car driving across the state of Utah twice a month] - and has yet to get an oil change); she tends to be a huge risk for the ’sucker-factor’ when it comes to such things. After talking to a few friends who are mechanics, and investing some time in researching reviews/testimonials/complaints online, two things have become obvious:
1) The pills, powder, and any other (non-petroleum based) additives are pure crap! Yes, mothballs will give you a slight boost in acceleration and MPG (I used to use them when I was younger, with a heavier foot and no common since), but the potential damage to the engine isn’t worth it (I hear heroin makes you feel great, but I don’t take the crap - again: risks). If you really want something that wont hurt your car, and will give you a little extra MPG, there is a really good petroleum-based fuel additive called ‘tune-up in a bottle’ by a company called Lucas that you can get at the local AutoZone that is wonderful if used once a month or so.
2) Like many MLM companies, the goal is to sell the company itself, and not the product. There are two co-workers selling the crap; but they have done more to try to get me to sign on to the MLM than to use the pills!
It also became apparent that any reasonable gain in MPG is more than likely due to a combination of the placebo effect (at $80/bottle, the placebo effect does become a factor in this equation), replacing the fuel filter, and also the season. Its spring, the time that not only the air gets warmer, causing the air/intake-temp sensor to use less gas (because warm air is less dense than cold winter air it can’t ignite as much gas as cold air). It is also the time that oxygenated fuel is no longer used (in the areas where it is required in the winter months…. for the same cold-air reasons and the pollution issues that winter driving creates). Switching from oxygenated fuel to the good stuff will cause 5-10% MPG gain by itself, let alone the additional benefit of the warmer air. So that at least satisfies my curiosity as to the question of why there are reports of MPG gain.
But it’s simple, if you want better gas mileage, use decent fuel, the extra buck or two you pay for premium at the pumps is worth it if you really put it to the test. Changing your air filter, and oil, as well as checking your tires and doing all the other routine maintenance will do wonders. Driving conservatively helps too.
Of course, there is always my favorite method… buy a mo-ped. I recently got myself a little weed-whacker on wheels, and I love it. It’s not as gutless as most people believe they are (though free-way driving is out, and I now believe rain to be a scourge of god). The best part is the 80+ MPG I get on the damn thing (I love being able to fill my tank for $2.50). I got a lot of laughter from some of my friends who say that a scooter will have a negative effect on my dating life (for a 24 y/o guy, getting laid is a must); but its only the guys who are laughing: all the girls say it looks cute and fun to ride (a lot like me), and thus my friends are left laughing as I putt off into the sunset at 42MPH with a cutie holding on behind me.

As we speaker I am trying to figure out how to fix my 99 chevy after using the Bioperformance pill in my tank. I followed the instructions and used 6 pills instead of 3 for the first tank.
I noticed the sound of my fuel pump increased by at least two times the normal sound. I didn’t worry though because I thought the company was a respectful company that would not sell me something that would damage my truck. On 05-14-06 I had about 1/4 tank left to burn and I was exited about finding out what the gas mileage would be but something happened.
As I accelerated my truck began to slow down instead of pick up speed. I then ask a mechanic to listen to the engine and tell me what it could be. I didn’t tell him what I added to the gas. This is what he told me.
It sounds like your fuel filter is clogged. you need to change the filter and add something to clean your lines out as soon a possible.
I attempted to call the Bioperformance company personally but I could not find a direct number to the company anywhere on their web site. I wished I would have noticed that the first time I searched their site. that is a red flag in my book. If anyone has the number please put it on this site for other and my self to use.
I called tree different distributor’s numbers and as of yet I have not been able to get a direct number to the company. My next call is the BBB.

Ok after hearing about the gas pill I decided to do some research being the natural sceptic that I have always been. So I spent 2.7 million building a modern lab and hiring a group of world reknown scientists.
I then put the pills in my 88 chey truck and the tests began… I got about 3.7 more miles per gallon and have concluded that the pills work!!!
You can save the 2.7 million and just try the pills for yourself. Reguardless of the posts on this site they do work and are not destroying millions of vehicles either or that would be a headline the Big News Companies would jump all over.

I am now trying my second round of MPG-CAPS through FFI (which has a 100% guarantee) and the first tank did get 2mpg better of in-town driving. I also am very skeptical of these type things. My husband just joined the team and I will help him IF they work. I will not back something that doesn’t work. I would never lie, cheat or steal and I don’t plan to start now. My thinking is also that you have to take into consideration how much you pay for the pills versus how much money you’re saving per tank. I will keep you posted as well on my findings.
By Monica on May 16, 2006
Thanks Monica for the feedback. I agree with everything you said. If anybody else would share their experiences with the FFI mpg-cap it would be very appreciated. Please forgive the fact that I have done perhaps more than my share of posting as of late, but I’m now seeing myself coming down the home stretch as far as the testing of these products goes, and am to the point after obtaining no success with any of them myself and keeping very thorough records, that if I am to remain interested, there must be some hard third party proof that these products work in the area where most would be interested, that being an improvement in MPG. Does anybody have a link to any third party source that makes a claim or conclusion that any of these products actually do work as claimed? The stories done on Ethos as well as the testing show that by test there was a reduction in emissions, but nothing re: improved economy. I have written “FFI”, “EnviroMax” , “BP” (rep’s only as I could not find a contact email address for the company) and “PowerPlus MPG” regarding third party proof that these products will increase mpg, and not one of them has responded. It is my suggestion that all the bickering and name calling, as well as putting down these various products needs to stop, and we all need to submit contributions that will help each other make an informed decision as to whether or not these products really do work. Thus being stated, if anyone has a link to an article or streamer done by a non-involved third party source that concludes that these products really do work, submit it here for everyone to benefit from. So far, I have yet to find one. Just to share one final comment.. I have a customer where I work in the Spa and Swimming Pool industry who is a retired Oil Company Executive, who performed in the area of research and development. Although this is only one person’s opinion, he has stated beyond any doubt that if these products were proven to work that the rights would IMMEDIATELY be bought out by a big giant oil company, not to be put on a dusty back shelf someplace, but to be blended in with their gasoline additives. As he told me, an oil company would pay literally millions to a “secret” that if blended with their gasoline would give an increase in mpg to their gasoline over the competition. He went on to say that it would not have to be a 10% or 20% improvement to raise brows, and that with advertising being what it is, even a 5% increase would make headlines world wide. He said scientists and engineers are always trying to find a way to make their product more efficient, and although the cleaning properties and reduction in emissions has been noted, that the mpg factor has more to do with engine design of the vehicle, and less with the fuel.

With the recent events associated with Bio Performance the past couple of days, and also because of the influx of E-mails I’ve received because of the same, I wanted to share with the group as a whole my opinions and personal findings associated with the more well known of these gas savings products. I’m openly stating up front that these feelings are not at all to be considered “Scientific†in nature, but are solely based on my personal findings and opinions. I am not involved with any of these companies in any way, and therefore will neither recommend becoming involved, nor suggest avoiding involvement with the same. I’m only sharing with the group the “pros†as well as “cons†based on my experiences.
: Power Plus MPG
I was given a bottle of these pinkish pills to try out that feature a very familiar “Camphor†smell, although one of the top reps claim is not moth balls. One drawback according to instructions is that these pills should be put into the tank when they have up to 8 hours to totally dissolve and blend with the gas. This alone would make the use of these not very user friendly for those taking a road trip or otherwise desiring the effect to take sooner than later. There is a customer service phone number as well as an E-mail address noted, and I did receive a reply to one of the two mailings I sent. A big red flag goes up however in regards to the smell. Because of the situation with BP, I would encourage PP mpg to put together an official statement ASAP re: the composition of their product which one of their company reps assured me is not MB and is patent pending. The dosage is one pill per 8 gallons, with a double dose for the first two tanks. One must use the product for at least four tanks before the maximum result may be realized.
:Ethosfr
Although there is a wide range of opinion as far as official US Gov’t usage of this product, and various opinions as to it’s effectiveness for increasing MPG, there is little doubt this product will decrease Emissions as well as make the vehicle simply run better.
Those not wanting to become involved with the MLM 4-E and be required to purchase
2 – 32oz bottles of the product per month can go directly to Ethosfr.com where they can obtain a 16 oz bottle of the product without obligation for $19.95 including shipping. It would be very difficult to use 2 – 32 oz bottles per month, and due to its liquid only formulation would be difficult to pass out as samples. The product provides a noticeable improvement as soon as added to the fuel as well as oil, and can also be added to automatic transmissions as well as power steering units according to the rep I spoke with. Sending E-mail to the company generated a quick reply, while those contacted in 4-E Corp had no time or interest in me unless I wanted to join their MLM venture.
:Ferox
Two little tabs in a convenient blister pack designed to burn off the carbon deposits at a cooler temperature within the combustion chamber so all the fuel is consumed. Noted as being a complete fuel system cleaner. Info can be found at addferox.com Great communication with the company. The only drawback to this perhaps as far as considering the product to market is that one can go directly to the company to purchase as well as in some retail outlets. MLM is handled through “Team Everest†which features other products in addition to Ferox.
:UBiee Power Pill
Presently testing in our Escort. The most expensive of all the products tested, at about $40 for 10 tablets. More feedback on this product after a reasonable test period has been given. Once again, a product that has been used outside of the US for the past 10 years with very noteworthy results according to the US distributor. One interested in selling this is not involved in MLM per se, but is required to obtain a license from the company for rights to market the product. Great people, and super communication with the US rep.
The cost factor however may be a deterrent in becoming involved as well as the licensing agreement required.
:Extreme Research/EnviroMax
I have yet to try this product, but soon will. Has been around about 10 years in a liquid only form, and is marketed as being a fuel system cleaner as well as a fuel catalyst. In June the company has said it will be coming out with a more convenient quick dissolving gel cap which will do the same thing as their liquid product while being easier to use and ship as well as pass out as samples.
:Fuel Freedom International
Promotes their mpg-cap as a NASA inspired product designed to coat the combustion chamber which will cause a catalyst effect, the result being a more thorough burn of the fuel as well as the removal of carbon deposits within the combustion chamber. A most impressive site that offers a good explanation as to how the product works in a technical manner, yet understandable by the average consumer. Company headquarters as well as mfg is in Florida, and there is a customer service telephone number as well as E-mail address for communication, although out of three E-mails I sent to the company, only one received a response. One mpg-cap treats up to 20 gallons, and there is no foul smell associated with this product. The company according to their site will soon be releasing the product in a liquid formulation known as “mpg-boostâ€.
This product was tested by ABC’s “Good Morning America†show along with a rep from AAA, in a manner that was anything but accurate. One of the biggest crimes that happens in the US on a daily basis is the in-accurate reporting of the media, which this clearly was a case of. If the product is determined not to work, make the determination after a thorough and accurate period of testing has been performed.
Although I personally did not see an increase in MPG associated with this product, shortly after beginning it’s usage, all sign’s of “ping†disappeared and my car performed in the manner as if it was burning the “Premium†blend.
:Bio Performance
It was this product initially that got me all excited about the possibility of increasing mpg in my car. I’m sorry for all those who became involved and thus were hurt by the ruling on the 17th, but of course, the ruling was not what hurt the people but rather the actions of BP itself.
In conclusion, it has been fun being able to read and share my comments in these blogs/forums, and although I’ve enjoyed the testing and evaluation of these products, and still have some testing to complete but share that for me personally, non have lived up to their projections and promises. While the continued experimenting may provide some noteworthy results of which I’ll be most excited to share, I think that for me personally, continuing the practice of keeping my vehicles in the best possible condition, following proven, sound mpg saving principles, and above all keeping in mind that age old statement “If it’s too good to be true, …â€
As always, I invite anyone to contact me directly should you have any questions at jeffantoncich@comcast.net Unless anything changes where I can report a personally experienced gain in vehicle mpg this will be my last posting, as there is not much else that I can personally share or contribute.
Regards,
