AutoStitch Panorama Software
I just uncovered a few folders of panorama pics that I haven’t yet stitched together. I’m going to see if this will run under wine on Linux.
AutoStitch is the world’s first fully automatic 2D image stitcher. Capable of stitching full view panoramas without any user input whatsoever, AutoStitch is a breakthrough technology for panoramic photography, VR and visualisation applications.

Autostitch works under wine for me.
Hope you found the same.
Excellent.

Works well for me in wine, but I’ve found that Hugin allows a lot more control. Also look around for autopano-complete.sh. It does a good job of adding control points and you can use Hugin to tweak the settings and generate the finished image.
I installed hugin and panotools using apt-get from: http://bugbear.blackfish.org.uk/~bruno/apt/
