Planet Twinkie - World of Wackiness

More fun cake ideas from Twinkie world.

So when Phil and his fiancee Pam began planning their wedding, he knew the only cake that would make their special day complete was one created entirely of Hostess snack cakes.

Penis-Shaped, Talking Masturbation Teaching toy Marketed to Pre-Teen
Girls!

I suppose this would fall into the “not suitable for office environments” category? On the other hand if your boss has a young daughter you may want to warn him (or her if you’re in an unsaved office).

The manufacturing label on Fisher Price’s new, Aquapet toy reads, “…they even have a few secrets, can you discover them?” For 7-year old church member, Martha Chumsky, that discovery was made late last Tuesday evening, when she walked into her parents’ bedroom looking for her toy, only to find her mother standing naked as jaybird in front of the bureau mirror, wiping off her daughter’s Aquapet with a dirty wet rag.

Fun Google hack with Sony Digital Cameras - Engadget - www.engadget.com

Another fun google hack.

Here’s a fun thing to play around with, if you’re bored at 3am. Most Sony digital cameras start saving photos with the following name %u201CDSC00001.JPG%u201D and a lot of people take these photos and upload them to the web, where the all-knowing, all-seeing Google later catalogs all of them.

The SaltwaterPizza Blog: Mall for Guys

Scott over at The Salt Water Pizza Blog might be onto a marketing revolution.

As I was roaming around the mall yesterday, I noticed that there are lots and lots of stores that I’ve never gone into. In fact, from a man’s point of view, over 80% of most mall real estate is wasted.

Kerry Haters for Kerry :: Main Page

Another interesting political site.

Are you going to vote for John Kerry even though you find him unpleasant, annoying, arrogant, waffling, misguided or just generally unappealing in some profound way? Then you’ve come to the right place! We’re Kerry Haters for Kerry — perhaps his largest constituency!

The Stick EP

5 Songs (mp3), lyrics, chord charts, a music video. It seems a bit pricey, but a good idea and maybe a look at what’s to come?

“WIZO-STICK-EP” is the first USB-Memory-Stick from a band, that comes already packed with songs and lots of other data for the use on your computer.

Sony’s SNC-M1 and SNC-M3 eyeball-cams - Engadget - www.engadget.com

More cool stuff we can’t have.

Oh Sony, always got to be showing people up. Okay, we’ll admit, these little guys are much more attractive than D-Link’s DCS-5300G network security cam (in that displaced eyeball kind of way), and they also have 802.11b capable versions, too (SNC-M1W and SNC-M3W).

This Is Broken - Amazon.com price sort

Lots of broken stuff on http://broken.typepad.com/

Andrea AnD writes in to point out that Amazon.com’s sorting is a bit broken. When you search for a product and get a long list of results, sorting the products “Price: Low to High” does not do so. I found that hard to believe, so I conducted my own test. So it is: Amazon’s sort-by-price is broken.

Lowercase Tee

Lowercase Tee

I should get one of these for Hannah to wear to the in-laws.

Around our house anyhow, what Mommy wants, Mommy usually gets. We hope that holds true through November. We started Lowercase Tees because we think this election means everything. Because where the US is going to be in the future, for our kids, is in large part going to be determined by the decisions we make right now. And kids ought to have something to say about it too.

FEAR FACTOR: Filmmaker urges Kerry vote … or else

Moore getting innovative. I like it. Except I don’t recall any free underwear when I went to see Fahrenheit 9/11.

He gave away free underwear and noodle packages to first-time voters after he criticized Bush’s motives and conduct of the war in Iraq, as he does in his recent film, “Fahrenheit 9/11.”
